This is where we take it to the next level. Learn to manage avalanche terrain, recognize danger, and mitigate risk.
Course Details
During a 4 day basecamp in White Pass, we take your snowpack, weather, and terrain evaluation to a new level. We also polish your companion rescue skills. We do it all in the most interesting terrain conditions will allow for. Classroom sessions occur in our big, heated classroom on wheels!
An AST I is a prerequisite for AST II.
Tag your friends to take this course with you because one trained person in a group is not enough to be avalanche-ready.
