Risk and Waivers

Travel in mountainous environments includes varying levels of risk exposure. Your guide is trained to mitigate and minimize this risk but exposure cannot be eliminated completely. Hazards you could be exposed to on your trip include avalanches, crevasse fall, rock fall, falls from heights, wildlife encounters, difficult travel conditions, adverse weather conditions, behaviours of other groups, hazards associated with snowmobiles and small aircraft, infectious disease, etc.

By agreeing to and signing our release of liability (found here) you will waive or give up certain rights including the right to sue for negligence, breach of contract, or breach of the occupiers liability act OR claim compensation following an accident.

All participants will be required to sign a hard copy of this document prior to joining any trip or course. This document will be presented to you upon checkout and also in person before the commencement or your course. It is important that all participants read and understand the waiver before purchasing any of our products as refunds will not be issued in instances where a participant refuses to sign the waiver. We thank-you for your understanding.

If you have questions or concerns regarding the waiver please email our lead guide at jamesminifie@gmail.com

Our trips are rooted in safety and the highest of operational standards with regard to managing mountain hazard.
